Launch Party
Last Saturday, April the 28th
NARC-KS organised a launch party in Alby, Stockholm. It was our first major grassroots activity the organisation has organised. As stipulated in our constitution, an organisations mouth piece is central for dissemination of information to members and the general public hence the launching of our web site. It has taken many months and lot of sacrifice to make this possible and NARC-KS would like to extend gratitude to all of those who participated in planning and executing and not least to all our members and guests who managed to participate during the event on the 28th of April. Apart from the web site NARC-KS also runs the NARC-KS Bulletin.
As our NARC-KS chairperson said during his brief statement that we in NARC-KS will foster democracy by promoting partnership with progressive individuals, groups and organisations that believe in the motto of One Kenya, One Nation, One People. In the same spirit he invited members to participate and be part and parcel of all activities within the organisation which would promote their equitable representation at every level within NARC-KS. The future is in our hand he told the excited crowd and NARC-Kenya is best placed to deliver with President Kibaki at the helm of the party.
Its was an impressive show of confidence if one takes into account the number of attendants. We had a full house of supporters and well wishers, who stayed put as the party continued well past the wee hours of the morning.

Summer is just around, we in NARC-KS wish to announce that we shall be planning various activities for our members and the Kenyans in general. In particular we intend to organise a ‘nyamchom’ party during one of these long hot summer weekends (details to be announced). At this early stage we would like to welcome everybody who wishes to help in organising for the ‘nyamchom’ party to enlist with the NARC-KS.
